Dear Chris Krug,
I have been a PT patient at your facility since July 19th, a day after my knee arthroscopy. I would like to bring to your attention the excellent care I have received from Tom Sather and Julie MIckelson.
When I had a knee arthroscopy eight years ago at Kaiser, no PT services were offered to me post-op. When Dr. McDermott told me that I would need to have PT after my surgery, I did some investigating.
I learned that your facility is well known for your PT services. I could have received PT through my employer, SRMH, at no cost but I chose to come to your office on the strenght of these recommendations.
I was not disappointed. Due to the care I have received from both Tom and Julie, I have gained an amazing amount of function in my knee. Aside from that, the emotional support and encouragement I received from them is not even quantifiable. I knew they were there for me and that my best function was their goal. They were accessible when I needed to reach them by phone, and helped me to problem solve when I twisted my knee a few weeks ago.
I will not hesitate to recommend your PT services to any co-workers or patients I come in contact with in the future. I am sad that I am ready to "graduate" and will miss the positive energy I always felt when attending PT sessions.
You are very fortunate to have physical therapists and physical therapy assistants of the caliber of Tom and Julie. I could not have made the progress I have without their expertise and kindness.
