Patient Testimonials - Dr. Bennett
Testimonial - Debbie Storno
Debbie Storno, an ardent cyclist, swimmer, and hiker, finds great satisfaction in her active lifestyle. While at work one day in 2007, Debbie
took a hard fall and broke her right kneecap. Debbie’s sister took her to the emergency room at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where Dr.
Frederick Bennett was the on-call orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Bennett repaired Debbie’s damaged knee, and she was so happy with her results that she came back to Dr. Bennett this year for a knee replacement on her left side.
I’m extremely grateful to have had met Dr. Bennett in the ER after my injury a few years ago. Because of Dr. Bennett’s surgical skills, I have no lasting pain in my right knee, and I have my full range of motion. When arthritic pain in my left knee began to impact my lifestyle, I went back to Dr. Bennett with complete confidence that he would know the best way to go about alleviating my crippling pain.”
I had total knee replacement surgery with Dr. Bennett in February, and I’ve since then said ‘goodbye’ to my arthritic pain. I deeply appreciate Dr. Bennett’s ability as an expert surgeon, as well as the genuine care that goes into his work. I’d fly around the world to have Dr. Bennett as my doctor. I know I can trust him to give me the best care possible.”
Dr. Bennett has shown Debbie Storno what thousands of other patients have discovered over the years: Santa Rosa Orthopaedic physicians

Testimonial - Terri A.
Terri lives in Santa Rosa with her husband and adorable German Shepherd, Sable. In her free time, Terri enjoys cooking, shopping, sewing, aerobics, and walking her dog. Four years ago, Terri fostered a golden retriever. In a moment of uncontrollable excitement, the dog lunged forward while Terri held its collar, causing a spiral fracture in Terri’s upper left arm. In the emergency room, doctors informed Terri that she would require surgery in order for her arm to make a full recovery. Terri went to Santa Rosa Orthopaedics, where Dr. Frederick Bennett took up the case. Dr. Bennett operated on Terri and inserted a metal plate into her arm.
I was nervous when doctors first told me that I’d need surgery, so it was a great relief to have Dr. Bennett as my surgeon. I had heard from friends of Dr. Bennett’s unparalleled skill as a surgeon, so I was relieved to find that he was the surgeon on-call on the day of my accident. I’m left-handed, and I was worried that I’d have a hard time sewing after my injury. I can do everything with my arm that I could do before my accident, and there’s very minimal scarring from my surgery. Dr. Bennett certainly lived up to his great surgical reputation.
