Cynthia graduated with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1984 following graduation from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in 1980 where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Counseling. She has worked as an occupational therapist since 1982, became credentialed as a hand therapist in 2006 and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. Cynthia has pursued a career as a Certified Hand Therapist and has worked with SRO since 2017.
Prior to working with SRO, Cynthia was at St. Joseph’s Health Care/Memorial Hospital Outpatient Clinic in Sebastopol, CA as an Occupational/Hand Therapist. Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of specialties focused on treating all hand and elbow diagnoses and injuries including a variety of complex orthopedic and neurological hand/wrist and elbow injuries. She is also skilled at fabricating custom static and dynamic orthotics.
When not pursuing her hand therapy career she enjoys spending time in the outdoors kayaking, hiking, biking, playing pickle ball and gardening, and she enjoys being a drummer with a rock band. Above all Cynthia believes that helping patients to achieve an improved state of health contributes to her both professionally and personally.
