Kyle Garcia Occupational Therapist, Hand Therapist
Kyle Garcia’s interest in the rehabilitation field stretches back to his undergraduate work at California State University, East Bay, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an eye toward entering the occupational therapy field. After graduation, he worked as OT-hand therapy aide in Oakland before entering St. Catherine’s University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he earned his master’s degree in occupational therapy. His program included extensive field work in mental health, post-acute and skilled nursing care, and hand therapy at the Minneapolis VA. The common thread running through all these endeavors has been his passion about working with patients on customized plans to achieve their highest level of function and well-being.
Born and raised in the East Bay, Kyle, his wife and their cat moved to Santa Rosa in 2019. They enjoy discovering Sonoma County’s beautiful hiking trails and rich culinary offerings, along with getaways to nearby mountain ranges for family skiing adventures.
